Harvest Fall 2010 - Released Spring 2011! Marques de Grinon extra virgin olive oil is produced by Spain's renowned family of Carlos Falco, Marques de Grinon. Since 1292, the family farmed on its estates near Toledo and Madrid and we are pleased to introduce this exquisite olive oil from the family's Capilla de Fraile estate. Packaged in dark Bordeaux style glass gleaming with the royal Grinon crest, Marques de Grinon extra virgin olive oil has a gleaming golden hue with exceptionally vivid and intense aromas. The scent is reminiscent of green tomatoes, freshly mowed grass, artichoke and green almonds. In the palate it exhibits beautifully concentrated green vegetable and nutty aromas. It has a persistent finish which is dominated by a pleasant spiciness, indicating its high poliphenol content. Marques de Grinon extra virgin olive oil is produced predominantly from pictual olive variety custom blended with arbequina and manzanilla olives. This superior extra virgin olive oil is recommended for drizzling over roasted vegetables, cured meats, and grilled fish, it is also excellent for tossing with pasta and salads and dipping with hearty bread.
